I can’t figure this out.... or maybe this system doesn’t do this.

We have the i-Mix G3 mixer.  When we are on remote, we would like to have the announcers broadcasting through a PA system, without a delay.  Is there a way they can do it without having the operator back in the studio talking over the PA?  Or hear the announcer talking to the studio?

Hi Azimmer,
Welcome to our Forum.

The iMix has a programable switching matrix that you can edit to enable any input to go to any output, except for routes that would cause a feedback loop. If you use the Toolbox software, it will enable you to edit the switching matrix to achieve the configuration that you need. You can download the Toolbox from the following site.

http://www.tieline.com/Support/Latest-Firmware/Current-G3-Firmware-Versions

Make sure to check your current iMix firmware version and download the Toolbox that is associated with that version.

If you go to our FAQs in the Forum section and do a search on "Toolbox", you will get some help on how to install and use the Toolbox.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Cheers

John
